The thickness of the green line fluctuates based on how many roadkill we recorded each day. While this helps depict our observations, it does not necessarily characterize regional trends. The number of animals we saw was influenced by many factors, including the type of road, the surrounding environment, and the size and therefore visibility of animals in the area.
